OK, it's £71 in their New Year sale! Incidentally, the 'pro' bit refers to packaging, ie the accessories you get. And you can select a narrower field of view in the settings menu, though you will lose quality as I guess the camera just uses a smaller area of the sensor. Some people might find the 170 deg lens a bit wide to their taste, though with the gyro turned on the field of view is a bit less. When I get a chance I'll post some more clips. And the short test clips have good colour and sharpness even though it was yet another grey miserable day in the UK. My video I think shows the effectiveness of the gyro stabilisation esp at 46secs where I shake the camera. This camera even lets you change the metering from average to centre spot etc. Huge range of settings and parameters you can change. There's a optional wrist remote as well and at the moment the camera is £71 on my link, inc. It has a huge range of settings, though not the most user friendly menu system, but once you get used to it it's OK. The UK weather has been so bad I only grabbed a short clip, but given some decent light I reckon this one will be a winner. The Yiaomi got loads of praise and the latest camera I've tested, the GitUp Git 2 Pro uses the same Sony sensor as the Xiaomi, and looks like it will produce really good results. GoPro's are indeed very good, especially the top price ones but there some new ones sub £100 that are not far off. BUT there are manufacturers out there that have seen the potential of the action camera market, have developed their own and made some really good cameras that are way below GoPro prices.
